This theme was inspired by the design of "Degrees" by Stuart Regan
I hope to have made this as easy as possible to emulate.
First off download the files here (mirror 1) (mirror 2) and make sure you have Multipicture  Live Wallpaper installed on your device.

Set Apex settings to the following:
  • 3 Screens
  • 8x5 grid
  • Margins set to none
  • No transition effect
  • Hide notification bar
  • Hide dock
Set MPLWP settings to the following:
  • 3 screens
  • set screen one to "currentlyData"
  • set screen 2 to "currentlyHome"
  • set screen 3 to "currentlyWeather"
  • set transition effect to slide.
  • you may need to play around with the advanced settings to get the screens right. It really depends on your device.
When placing the "jump to screen" and "app drawer" buttons make sure to add the widgets first, resize to make room, then place the button. Resize the widget to overlap then long press widget and select "send to back"

This looks great!
I'm trying to follow the steps of the tutorial and video demo. The widgets I'm adding with UCCW just say TODAY * F0MAX instead of the actual Current High Temp.

Could you point me in the right direction?

Only thing I can think of is check your location settings in uccw....?

Thanks for the setup! I really enjoy it but I'm getting widget spacing on my SGS3 with CM10 on it. Anyway you know of to fix that or am I just stuck with it due to my screen?

Unknown said...

Yeah it could be the screen res....i'm on a gs2 so my resolution is 480x800 :( whereas a gs3 has a resolution of 720x1280.

Hey, love the setup. I was wondering if there was a way to force the tiny 1px margin between widgets like in your screenshots. I'm on an S2 and the widgets seem to all aligning perfectly meaning there's a bit of a gap at the top and bottom of the screen

The only thing that I can think of is, check your launchers margin settings. (also don't forget to hide the statusbar if you haven't already)

Unknown said...

Margins are all set to none with dock and status bar hidden.I'll let into it a bit more

That's no bueno, what are your live wallpaper settings?

Where do I get the uccw / uzip files? They're not in the download link

Crop/Resize: Show Entire picture
No reflections

It just seems to be missing that 1px gap above/below each widget so should be an Apex issue.

Looking through the UCCW help, it says "There is a space between widgets.... This space is inserted by your launcher"

If anyone is having the same issues as me, I've uploaded an edited version of the wallpapers (hope it's ok) to fill in the gaps at the top and the bottom. It also fixes the colour difference between the 'Information' top bar and the others.

Please note that I've only tested this on the S2

They're there, look harder. :)

Unknown said...

That's no problem, I actually encourage modification of my themes and I love to see what others come up with! But the two differentiating colors(wall v. widgets) were intentional. :)

Unknown said...

Yes, but the colour for the background behind "Currently" was different to the one behind "Home" and "Information". I changed them to match the "Currently" background

Unknown said...

Oh whoops, my bad. I had so many subtle variations of the wallpaper. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

The headings at the top don't seem to want to overlap the shortcuts created for the arrows. I don't get the option to send to back or anything either

I am having some issues adding the app drawer to the Home screen. Could you add some details on that? Thanks!

Unknown said...

Did you name this after the Currently chrome extension?

Unknown said...

I'm sorry man, that sucks. Did you add the shortcut first?

Add the analog clock widget, then resize it to make it smaller, creating a blank area. then add an apex action, app drawer. long press the app drawer icon and edit the icon to be transparent, then resize analog clock over the blank app drawer icon. long press the analog clock and select send to back. Hope that helped.

No. :)

Extremely frustrated here, inside the zip file is 3 wallpapers in a folder and a transparent icon.
200k 200k 200k 3k equals 603k. The zip file is 1.3 mb. Somethings not adding up.

Using astaro file manager on a samsung note II

:/ I am disappoint.

Unknown said...

Hello,

I'm trying to download the zip, but it says something about your bandwidth being taken up... What do?

Unknown said...

It's been reset. Files are available again.

Hello, I am also trying to download the zip with the same error message. Help?

I added mirror links near the top.
